Can anyone recommend a headphone that doesn't break after 3-4 weeks?

As the title say, I need a quality headphone to my MP3 player that won't break after 3-4 weeks of usage. It's starting to get really expensive.

Either the majority of all headphones are crap and extremely cheaply made or I've had the worst luck anyone can have regarding them. They always break the same way, first the right ear stops working and then the left one.

I'm talking about In-ear headphones. I've tried Koss, Creative and Sennheiser (none above $40 though] and nobody can apparently handle my hard life as a student and part time worker at a store.

I would gladly pay $50-80 for a pair of great headphones if I can have them work. It's either that or buying 30 $2 headphones that have crap sound in them.

I would greatly appreciate if I could get a recommendation of a pair of sturdier headphones, they don't need to be in-ear but I don't want gaming head-sets or studio headphones.

I have pretty much the same problem. I have a feeling those headphones are designed with a limited shelf-life.

Right now I'm using a set of V-Moda Vibe headphones. They seem extremely well-built, but I'm finding them to have a poor fit and lackluster sound, especially for their price. I've had them for about 8 months now.

Have you pulled the cord while the headphone is inside your ear?

A few come to mind, but these are all very good.
