Ok, i found this mobo: http://www.msicomputer.com/product/p_spec.asp?model=945P_Neo3-F&class=mb for 100USDs, which is pretty cheap over here(normal price 150-200 USDs). I will get it with a Core 2 Duo E6600. But I wondet if I can install a 8800 GTX. I orderd one and i will get it tomorow. But since this mobo is rly small and ram dimms possition is very close to PCI-E 16x and I am afraid that the card won't be able to fit. Can any1 tell me if a 8800 gtx can fit? Or if not, if there is a way to make it fit?

Don't see why it would be a problem, you never know though, with the 8800GTX isn't the biggest issue case size due to the cards length.

Yeah case size is the main issue when it comes to installing 8800GTX/GTS cards. Your RAM slots are not in the way of the card's (long) length but be prepared to lose the accessibility to your PCI-E x1 slot.

Right now I have http://www.gigabyte.com.tw/Products/Motherboard/Products_Spec.aspx?ClassValue=Motherboard&ProductID=1802&ProductName=GA-8I915P%20Duo%20Pro

which has like 3 PCI slots. I never use them, so I don't give a sheet about them. I only worried about my ram module, cause it is on the same line as the PC-E 16x slot. I just worried that when i Insect my Ram, I won't be able to install 8800, cause of size. As for case, it is not a problem. I have a huge one, but 45% I will buy a new one and 50% I will have them outside the case(Intel Outside! :P) until I finish testing. But are you sure, that my RAM won't be a problem? I have the mobo next to me, and it looks like a problem for me.

Also cause of price and size, should I get a 8800 GTS instead? I want a card that will last 2 years, I may get anotherone for SLI later on. if I get GTS. I play games on a 17 inc monitor, but I will order a 19 inches soon. I don't plan playing games in higher rez than 1600 * 1280. Well? with those extra 200 bucks, I can get a G5 mouse and a case.

It looks to me like it will work, but you will not be able to move the lower tabs for the ram on the board. So you will have to have your GPU out whenever you take your ram out or put it in.

Yup I thought so, I used to use this mobo, and I had my 8800GTX in it, an it is at least as close as yours.

Ok thx for help. As for the idea about the RAM, I have a friend of my, who has a micro-ATX and an ATI X800. He had the same problem with me, he told me about the RAM.

But still GTS or GTX? Â
