I am thinking about getting Deus Ex Collection because of Steam sales. I once borrowed it from my friend but I think I was having some problems with it. Here are my specs:

CPU: Intel(R) Core(TM) 2 Duo CPU E7400 @ 2.80 GHz

CPU Speed: 2.80 GHz Performance Rated at 5.04 GHz

RAM: 3.5 GB

OS: Microsoft Windows XP Professional Service Pack 3 (build 2600)

Video Card: GeForce 9500 GT

DirectX version: 9.0c

Sound Card: Realtek High Definition Audio

You can run it but if you merge with Helios you will get a virus.

TC, while the 9500GT will not run the most recent 3D games without low details, Deus Ex (original) should even work on integrated graphics. Deus Ex Invisible War while needing more PC than the original game should work fine, too, as it should have at least the recommended 128MB of video memory. I remember playing Invisible War on an ATI 9800 card with 128MB without much of an issue, and the 9500, should be better than that card was. I'm thinking though, if your card wasn't enough that your CPU and RAM would make up for it. Have fun with the games :)

as the others said, you wont have a problem with either of them. They are really good games (the first an exceptional game, the second merely good) it is cheap for them, I hope you end up buying them, and enjoy your playtime with those ^^

If there are any issues you can always write here again, and we happy Forum Goblins will help :P

Should I mod the game on my first playthrough? I am thinking about this mod.

Try the graphics mods, sure, but playthrough at least once before trying any gameplay mods.

that ultra graphics mod is something I would not likely take on my Deus Ex game unless you have software that measures the temps of your graphics card.

I do like the mod tho, so if you have something to measure the temps, then I guess itll help the game a bit :3 never felt like the game needed it tho, it wont take long before you forget all about graphics in that game (say, around Hells kitchen), simply due to the gameplay is pretty darn good.

I just tried that mod out and tbh I thought it made the graphics worse although it's your choice if you install it or not.
