3 ghz pentium 4 with ht technology

512 mb ram

32 mbs onboard graphics (up to 64mbs using something called shared memory that uses some of the ram)

xp home sp2

i doubt ur GPU will be upto the job you could try it as it is a free download.

cant afford one. :x i dont even have job yet (too young) next year ill get one and build a comp with 2 gigs of ram, amd 4200+ and 8600 gt.

In the mean time go pick up a 7600GT to tide you over. It's cheap and will max out Far Cry.

I would say that your intergrated graphics aren't powerful enough to run to game. Laptops aren't exactly great for gaming.:(

Would not work with onboard video. I doubt you will be able to install it.
