It depends on the res, and if he runs into issues (unlikely) he can always allocate more. Although it won't be as fast as dedicated memory.Minimum Specs

The card shares RAM with the laptop so it can go as high as 1.5 GB. The card can play BF2 on medium so I would say he can probably play skyrim on low/medium.
Thats a notebook so the resolution will be very low, yes you probably will be able to run the game :)
