I live in Australia and I'm just wondering if I can import and play games from the US and Europe without any trouble. Can I?

You shouldn't have any problems with imported games generally. The only thing you have to watch out for are patches. You have to remember that its not for the same country you are in as some games tend to have different patches for different countries.

Games using oriental symbols for text may be a little problematic as they tend to like Windows to be set to that language. Other than that, you really shouldn't have any issues.

I've imported plenty of games for the PC and have never had a problem. As it was stated above, you must ensure you get the right patch for whatever region the game came from. The only thing you may have to ever deal with is having the game in another language but if you import from the right places you shouldn't have a problem :)

Happy gaming!

I'm from Argentina and the major problem I have with imported games is... Taxes!! Everytime I buy a game from USA I have to pay the game+USD35 (shipping) + 50% of the total in taxes. So a $40 game finally cost me like $110 :( Is that or piracy for me...

Not if you find Region Free games. :)
I just purchased Saints Row from Play-Asia.com.. Region Free of course, and it works on my PAL console.

Yeah, it depends on the game, most free games like shot online or rappelz are ip blocked to alot of asian countries cause they are published by a different company.
