can you whine to get a reduced price when a sale starts

so i want to buy the newegg/rosewill cherry mx red keyboard from newegg

since easter is about 2 come and I am an anus and don't feel like waiting, can you just whine to them to give you the discount price if you just buy something before a discount? (I am assuming there may be a deal on the keyboard)

In my experience...Yes. It was black november over there and specific things went on sale within about 2-3 days of my purchasing them, so they gave me the difference. Did it multiple times and every time they said "We will make an exception only this time".

Hey look 15% disdcount on all keyboards, it works if applied to my keyboard(like if I add a new one). Time to test newegg's word in the live chat, except long queue, this reminds me of att customer support

Here is the 15% off all keyboards EMCNFND98 So instead of 107$, I paid 92. It would be slightly less if I did it before because of tax, but w/e.
