Cannot install new ATI Catalyst drivers on Sony Vaio..

Hi there,

I'm having trouble installing the latest ATI catalyst mobility drivers , 10.8, on my Sony vaio E series with a 5650 mobility. Sony have not yet released an official update so I am left with the stock drivers which are so old! Apparently there is a way to bypass the ATI downloader, or some way to obtain the raw install file for the driver to get around this.

Does anyone know how?

Currently when I try and install them it says that my hardware is not compatible and I should contact Sony for updates.
