Ok so i can't find out where to plug some things... One i have no idea where to plug the HD+, and the reset and led and all the other good stuff that came prebuilt into my CM690. The second thing is i can't find where to put the Case Fan's. Im guessing the power supply but im not sure. Here's a pic of the motherboard i have http://www.mysuperpc.com/gigabyte_ga_ep45_ud3p_motherboard.jpg . It's clearer then anything i'd be able to get with my cam so.. My case fans are 4 pins and each fan has 2. One that is 4 circles another that is 4 pins.

you need the motherboard manual, it will show you how and where to plug in the wires.

The spots circled in pink (at least I can tell the top circled one) is for attaching fans to from your case OR you should be able to power them with your PSU and a 4pin molex connector.

The area circled in green looks to be the location you need to attach your wires for reset/led and such. But you need to reference your MB manual to make sure you connect the correct wires to the correct locations.

I hope that helps you out some. Without actually having the MB manual, I can't be 100% certain on all this, but from just looking, I do belive I have it right. There may very well be 1 or 2 more spots on the board you can attach fans to that I missed or just can't see on that pic.

Thanks. I read through the manual right before i red this and your green was right. The pink doesn't seem to fit but i found something that does in the psu. Do i have to plug in both the circles and the pins or just one? Cuz one of them is attachable thru the psu.

The case connections should be listed in the manual.... That motherboard picture is too small for me to read the text on it... But the case plug-in are usually labeled in real small print. Usually like, Power +/-, reset+/-, HDD +/-, and such. If the light doesn't turn on for the Harddrive light on the case, then you need to cross the wires around from + to -.... Those pins are usually on the left side of the board.... That roll of pins, in black, on the lower left of that picture are probably the ones. I can barely read power led around that area of that picture; so it's most likely it. Power led translates to power light. HDD led should be in the same area, as well as the power, reset. and the PC Beeper Speaker plugin.

As for the Case fans.... if they are the small plugs, you can usually plug them into the motherboard via the Fan headers (look closesly at those case fan cables, sometime they are really those small ones with an added 4 pin molex adapter.) Those small fan header plug-in are usually scattered all around the motherboard. But, experience builders don't like using those things... they usually buy a 4 pin molex cable adaptor so to connect them directly to the 4 pin molex power. The fan headers on motherboards are infamous for shorting out, which could short out the whole motherboard in the process. (Although, there is probably more rumor than truth to that. I never had a problem with using them.)

Anyway... I only see one system fan header on that board, on the bottom.... it's labled sys fan... that white one. The other to the right is for the CPU fan.... That's a micro ATX type board, isn't it. Those added features are cutback from those micro ATX boards. Just plug your case fans directly to the powersupply via those 4 pin molex cables... (may need to buy a 4pin molex cable adapter.) If you don't have enough, then buy a splitter.... and share it with your DVD/CD rom drive....
