Cheapish laptop under 500 quid? Ideal for gaming

Could somebody please give me some advice on what to look for or give me some excellent examples for great gaming laptops as I will be moving away soon and can't really afford to bring a PC around with me! Cheers peeps :)

Take a look at Lenovo IdeaPads, especially being sold from third part retailers like tigerdirect.com and Amazon. Do not buy refurbished though.

I would look into a AMD A10 plus 7670m has pretty decent performance and still fits in portable laptops. Not sure how 500 quid compares to nzd though. Even the slower A8 is ok or just make sure it has something around a 7670 or geforce 630 if you want to play games. The hp envy range are pretty nice.

amd apu laptops will work best at that price.
