CoD 2,4 , WHY ?!?!?!?!?!?!?!?!?!?!?!? *crying on the floor*

Ok, when i launch CoD4 singleplayer then everything works perfecly. When i launch CoD4 multiplayer then it goes to hell. it stands "CoD4_file has stopped to work" over and over again . Many had this problem and it was because they had Mic's , but i have no mic . So how can i cure this or where can i get online support to CoD4 personal ?

So where does it say from his post that he pirated it?

If you have Vista try to set it to run as administrator/patch it to the latest version if you didn't/install it again (a friend of mine had to install it about 3 or 4 times before it finally worked.

i know how to fix this... i promise...

you will need a mic,, or you could try this but this is no garrunteed way to fix it....

find an old crappy pair of headphones, earphones whatever.... cut the cord off.. and put taht 1/8th inch plug into your mic plug on your pc... and that might help.......

you may still have to follow the rest of the steps at activisions website about teh iew3.exe file or whatever it is called.

He never said you had to get an expensive mic. My mic cost me like £5. That's hardly expensive, tbh, if you have a rig that can run CoD4 and you play multiplayer you should at least have a mic anyway.
