hello, (second problem for today) Since installing Windows 7 on my computer COD4 refuses to work at all. When ever I try to run either the single player or multiplayer mode it would start up and then after a few seconds crash and close itself. When I first got the game I originally had a different problem when I ran it on Vista which I managed to fix by updating my sound card driver. Is this something I can fix similarly and if not how can I fix this? Your help would be greatly appreciated. Thanks
Is your sound card a realtek device? If it is go into the audio manager and click the little file iconin the top right hand corner (Connector settings). Once in click thedisable front panel jack detection and it should work. Hopefully:) Worked for me in Vista and win 7.
