Company of heroes online HELP!

I've recently installed the Company of Heroes Beta.

I used to love the game but haven't played the orginal for some time.

I'm using the exact same laptop as I used to but now the game barely runs!!

Does anyone out there please have anything they can suggest or diagnostics i can run to find out what the problem is with the game.
