I am running a Radeon 5750 HD right now and its actually REALLY nice. However .. with Skyrim and SWTOR coming out soon I want to ensure zero graphical issues.

I need some expert opinion as its been a long time since I have bought a new vid card.

I have narrowed it down to these two .. however if you know of a better alternative I am always open to suggestions.

Thank You

For skyrim and SWTOR you likely will not need to upgrade.

They are about the same, 6970 is a little better on higher res (not that it's noticable). Do make sure you have an adequate PSU for eather of those 2.

they're pretty much even in terms of performance, 570 may have a slight edge but I doubt that you'ld really notice

Get whichever card you can get the best deal on. The two cards trade blows in performance. Some games run better on the 6970 while others run better on the 570.

Thank you for the feedback. I will be needing to buy a new Power Supply for either of these cards. Anyone have a good one in mind?

600/650 watt front a decent brand (corsair, fsp, season, antec etc. 850+ watts if you're thinking of SLI/Xfire in the future.

You don't need that much VRAM for a 570 unless you are doing more then one monitor.

I'd suggest this:

http://www.newegg.com/Product/Product.aspx?Item=N82E16814127582

It can be overclocked like a son of a gun.
