compatible cpu and mobo?

Hey I just got the parts shipped in... Im worrying though.

Will the cpu and mobo definitly fit and be compatible, they both are am3 socket, but the mobo says it supposrts 2 and 4 core (has two little logos for the phenom II x2 and x4), doesnt have a tag for 6 that i see. I dont want to try to fit it in or blow something out if its not gonna work.

does this confirm that it is compatible?

It will work but you will probably have to update the BIOS.
