Hey Guys,

I was at a friend of the family's place last night and he said that he got his computer, with similar specs to the one I will buy for $700.

My one costs about $1800 at PC Case Gear. It will have a 7970 Graphics card, 16GB ram, 3TB Hard Drive, 120Gb SSD etc.

Is this a fair price, for Australian? If not, are there any other Australian companies that will have a good range, low prices and good quality? Anybody know about any of these?

Thanks,

GamerGal13579

Would need to know the exact hardware from both PCs. PCCG have pretty good prices, you won't find stuff much cheaper anywhere else in Australia. My PC cost a lot more than other PCs with similar core components, but when you start throwing in things like an SSD, expensive case, 120Hz display, addition fans and so on, the price starts to creep up. Not long after I got my PC, a friend got a PC with the same CPU and GPU (different model 670, though) and spent about $1,000 less than me.

Thats ok then. I just wanted to make sure that I wasn't paying more than needed for my parts.
