Hi, I just wanted to know if it would be possible to connect my Xbox 360 to my PC via the digital optical cable, and through this I would get surround sound out of my 7.1 speakers. Btw my speakers don't have an optical connection or anything and the sound on my TV / PC monitor isn't that good. TIA
yes it is, you will need something like this but that will only give you 2.1 surround, just imagine that wire but green,orange,black (which is what i have for my 360 atm) gives 5.1, im not sure about 7.1 though. go to a hardware shop and ask for audio jacks with female on both ends.
