Terrible. A CPU with a crappy integrated GPU. Does Intel want to kill PC gaming by frustrating people who buy brand new system, only to realize that they can't play anything modern at decent settings and resolution?

Looks like this is what the AMD Fusion is going to go up against. I doubt anyone here will want one for their rig however it may appear in laptops also as it's using DDR3 prices should drop on it.

i3 is a low end processor, it's not made for gaming, this is the sort of thin you'll find in regular office PCs and prebuilts not gaming PCs.

This is kinda annoying... which socket is intel going to support? I can't choose between 1156 and 1366 (and another one for i3, I assume) if they're just going to drop one in the future... seems like a REALLY poor maneuver for intel to split their products across so many different motherboards.

it will be 1156 1136 was simply to get i7 out there 56 will be its consolidating point kind of like socket 748 was to 775.

Do you mean 1156 is replacing 1366? That makes more sense then trying to support all 3.

LGA 1156 is mainstream, LGA 1366 is the enthusiast.

LGA 1366 is not going away any time soon.
