They both have HT. i7 9xx supports triple channel whereas i7 8xx supports only dual channel.

oups you're right I thought cpu from lga 1156 were all non HT but I found outit was only the core i5

Core I7 870 is inferior since it has no triple channel memory. They have one thing in common though. Both are overpriced garbage.

But don't get a 870/940 get a 860/920.

then how come in most all tests Intel beats AMD? can you explain that? :)

Well Intel does beat AMD in some tests but not all of them. Also don't try to make Slig give sympathy to Intel because he is an AMD fan for life lol. And actually he's been ROFL lately over Intel and Nvidia both lol. He really is quite funny though and He always makes me laugh :lol: :lol: (in a good way)
