No, that is not a gaming graphics card. Its for Graphic Design that is why it is so expensive.

That graphics box is designed specially for professional use - like heavy 3D work, CG, movie editing and all that good stuff. Not for games.

It should be able to play games.... but for less you could get a way better computer that is aimed at gaming. If you dont want to build yourself and dont mind being ripped off then try alienware.
