It'll be negligible. Even taken further it will probably still be negligible.

We really need some sort of stickied overclocking thread on this forum.

I Lol'd.

Sorry mate but you won't notice any difference aside from a few extra points with benchmarking. If you're looking for a noticable improvement with general task and games performance you'll need to jump at least by at least 500Mhz or more I'd say.

I OC'd my i7 920 from 2.66GHz to 3.8GHz :D

I love it, but going from 2.9 to 3.0 not going to do anything that'll help your frame rates in games are give you a major increase in benchmark results.

It'll be as good as having a (1/29 x 100)% improvement at best and that is, 3.4%.
