On the first day of release 2 of Crysis, Crytek already offers the first patch for the PC version. All who run the game the first time, will download the patch automatically. Even after installing the patch, PC users are registering multiple complaints, including: Reporting that their serial codes are already in use. The game keeps asking for the serial every time you enter the multiplayer mode. Codes bonus pre-order will not work. The game does not load. Still no advanced graphics options. Continues to lack of support DX11. The description of the patch tells you what the problems were fixed: Fixed a server problem that showed incorrect pings. Fixed games not started. Text chat is faster. Console reactivated. Fraud detection. Fixed problems with USB headset. Fixed problem with icon hologram. Removed the Auto Aim (Mira automatic).

Add: I keep getting thrown out of the game and into my desktop. When I reenter the game, the game is NOT paused and enemies kill me and have to restart a checkpoint.

(Tho I'm pretty sure there is a way to fix that myself...but its annoying ME!!!)

A simple fix for the serial code in use problem. Just go to re-enter your serial code in-game and make sure it is all lowercase and WITHOUT the dashes. It worked for me when I had the problem earlier.

I dont' have any of those problems, aside from the lack more settings and the lack of DX11 suppport. However, I wouldn't say that's a problem, the game looks great even without DX11 and I don't mind the lack of extra settings.

OH BOY! I CAN'T WAIT TO PLAY SOME SINGLE-PLAYER!

Huh? Serial Code isn't found? Ok well I'll just type it in again...

WHAT DO YOU MEAN SERIAL CODE IS ALREADY IN USE!? WTF CRYTEK!

Link to my feelings atm.

I was able to play singleplayer when I got the serial key already in use error. I easily fixed the issue though doing what I stated above.

What you have not heard that one before? They keep saying it since the demo, along with "maximum lag activated" Sad to hear that there are still no graphics options, feels like all crytek say is talk and not actions.

Not only does it look good it run amazingly well on my crappy dual core and single graphics card. People can whine about this game being simplified but its not the typical console port.

If anyone can help with the jaggies. I've tried enabling FSAA and Edge AA, and I've also disabled them.. and the game just has way too many jaggies in certain parts of the game. Should I just disable them altogether to get the best effects? Btw, I've hard crashed 3 times already and I've only played a couple of hours of Crysis 2.

Well, that does not say much. That videocard is pretty damn good and that dualcore is not crappy at all. Its a pretty damn good one and judging by crysis 1, dual core, quad core, it doesnt metter. It mostly uses the videocard.

Im just saying if its a port, its good. Other ports are very hit or miss a few recent ones I can remember that while playable have their problems: Darksiders, Homefront. Those are very playable but I have frequent slow down. Then there are games like Alpha Protocol which ran terribly, Red Faction and Saints Row were also terrible.

You should see bulletstorm. broken AA casts black boxes everywhere. Peromance is halfed in 16:10 resolutions and you get lines up and down on the screens. Shadows are broken and cast black lines that move when you move and look around the mouse. Also 16 bit like textures with messed up contrast when you are in low light areas because of post processing. IOn the other hand people with much weaker rigs can max it out just fine while i get the problems. Games these days are hit and miss. :(
