Hi guys. I'm currently playing Crysis 2 on a 1990 x 1200 resolution at about 30-40 Fps. It's running like a dream and it's a beautiful game. However, whenever a cutscene starts playing, it just starts stuttering and would appear to drop to about 5 Fps. I can watch the videos in the menu but not in game. It's bizzare! My spec: i7 CPU Ati radeon 4750 (Not great I know, but hey!) 4GB Ram Anyway, before you answer, I'm not upgrading my PC just for a game, the game clearly works, it's just the videos that don't. Thanks, Mike
update ur drivers maybe? and OP why do u have a i7 with that gpu. there is nothing wrong with the gpu other then it being on the weak side now ,but i just think ur set up is a lil weird.
A good CPU is important for what I use my computer for. Sadly, I was meant to get a better video card but never did. My drivers have been updated using the steam driver update tool. Don't know if that is sufficient or not.
Do I really have to lower them? The game is running so smoothly as it is, I can't see why I'd need to reduce the settings further. I really can't figure this out. How come I can watch the videos in the menu but not in game? It's so odd.
