Everybody agrees that the trailer for Crysis 3 for E3 was absolute sh*te and made the game look like a linear COD style snorefest. I have no idea why they went down that route when the actual gameplay looks so stunning and open ended, much like the original Crysis was.

...and what's with the rose-tinted glasses? Do people forget that Crysis 1 started becoming linear two-thirds of the way in, until the final level looked like a COD set piece?
Some things that I noticed were:
Frogs and other wildlife are back to shoot up
The breakable trees are back
Way better destruction than Crysis 2 and 1. Big chunks of rock can be blown from boulders. Thick trunks have large pieces blown off them.
The levels look pretty damn large (no pun intended)
Things like multiple routes are pretty common with vents and spaced out alternate paths everywhere
Though the HUD is the same as Crysis 2, it seems to play much more differently.
