better be a proper demo and not like unreal which only lets you play on med...yeah you can see gameply but ffs i spent over £1200 on my pc just to see shiny blood trails.
Several people have mentioned that the beta limits you to "high" graphics settings. If I remember correctly, that's two levels below maxing out. Plus, the DX10 version will be utilizing a lot of technology unavailable to DX9 users. So, I think it would be wise to wait before passing judgement on graphics quality.
Im playing the crysis beta atm. its pretty good. Graphics are good but i wouldnt drool over em.Phantsy16
As said before, all graphics settings are not open in beta, old build of the game, doesn't even support Quad cores or vista, No AA. All information from the beta forums sticky.

Apparently (for some weird reason) they have chosen for the countdown to be based on location of the viewer, instead of the location of the server. Here it's 21 hours left... The release time of the demo is the same for all countries, so why does it look at system time?

I am from Australia ( GMT +10hours)

So in 13 hours I'll be able to get it too, even if I'm not from Australia?
I guess the time for release is when it hits 0 for the timezone the developers are in, so those living in Australia might see it at 0 for many hours before it's released But let's wait and see, hopefully it'll be released when the counter is at 0 in Australia :)

i dont really have a clue for austrailia...but ive searched..(mainly in the crysis forums) and i guess preorders through EGAY get the demo a day earlier...
yeah i did both and because it was poorly optimised(whatever that means likke everyone said) it runs like crap and colors appear on the screen and yes i did do that check i just wanted to clarify things jesus calm down
