Crysis - Full Screen mode doesn't fit to screen

Every time I play Crysis, the game will not fill up the monitor. The ratio is correct, it just needs to stretch out a bit. It's not in windowed mode either.

Also, it will sometimes cause my desktop to not fit the screen either, making me have to change the scaling options in the AMD Vision Engine Control Center.

Anyone else have this problem and know a solution? This is the only game this happens for.

Are you running in your native resolution?

My 5770 is notorious for doing that too whenever I use the HDMI port on my 24" 1080p TV that I use as a PC monitor. It does that only with Crysis and Warhead. Crysis 2? Not so much. There's several workarounds I can think of.....

1. Alt-Enter - cycling through several times may bring up the proper fullscreen.

2. Run Crysis with the -dx9 tag (crysis.exe -dx9). The problem for me only came up with DX10.

3. Use the DVI or VGA port

4. Get an nVidia card.
