I just installed CSS after 2 years to play a bit on the net...and all i can find in the serverd now are bots or locked servers,and most of the servers i find are modded or smthg...i have to download every sound or i don't know what else...i just want to log in and play...do i have to do something special?do i have to download the dedicated server?im really confused....the last versions before source i played were 1.3 and 1.6 and there were no such problems...you could log in and play in seconds...what do i have to do?
But this has happened to me before. Just close steam entirely and reopen it, if this doesn't work try a restart. If that doesn't work either, delete all of the steam files apart from steam.exe and your game files and run steam.exe. This will redownload Steam again.
