For anyone who was worried about the "consolized" combat. ( God I hate that word ) I just spotted this little snippet of the rogue class Gamespot wrote.

I was never worried really, but I know alot of people are/were. Hopefully this helps just a tiny bit :P

That`s not helping at all.The "consolized" combat,I don`t like the word too,is a side effect of hardware limits, and greedy game developers.

There are previews of PC combat,in other languages exactly defining that.

Ports.Anyone that played them on PC,is aware of the camera problems, control and tactical problems. In this specific case camera is zooming out,but IMO,not enough. It`s more a fixed OTS behavior ,that actually prevents distance LOD,to save processing power on consoles.

The characters even the PC are very close, you will see this when the forehead is cut off by the top off your monitor. That absolutely makes sense because the console gamer is physically more away, and would see less with a different camera setting.

Although I thoroughly enjoyed DAO, I didn't think the combat-style and action was anything to write home about. I welcome the new combat change, just don't screw up the overall gameplay for the sake of consoles.

I played/finished/loved the game on PS3, just ordered the Ultimate Edition for PC, as it's a generally known fact that it's the definitive version.

I personally didn't have a problem with the combat in the PS3 version, it's probably as good as it could have been with a limited amount of buttons. Although that opinion might change when I get the PC version.

Agreed. Will probably wait till a bit latter, rogues teleporting, and mages exploding things with fire, kinda strange for an RPG
