Im loving it to man, its just a heck of alot of fun and very addicting. I wasnt expecting to enjoy the game nearly as much as i am. The singleplayer campaign is alot of fun and the coop with a friend if great to. Only played the online on the beta, just been addicted to the singleplayer/coop now! Its fun upgrading your guys and what not! I was expecting to give the game a 7 or 8/10 but its a 9/10 on all fronts imo. I was very skeptical, but im really having alot of fun with it here!
[QUOTE="sportwarrior"]gogamer just had a sale end for DoWII... $35 and I didn't pick it up. I'm regretting it a little, but there are other games on my radar right now... Empire and The Show.thusahaI just check gogamer website, there's still time to get DoW 2 for $35. Thanks for the heads up, they must have extended the deal. Now I have another day to consider it. I'm damn tempted. The real problem is my aging rig. Opty 170, 7800 GTX, 4 gigs of DDR400 RAM. Thinking of upgrading the video card for cheap, but as long as I'm running on an Opty 170 I'm gonna be held back. It makes newer games decidedly less appealing since I can't really run them at top spec. But like I said, for $35 it's awfully tempting.

yeah, it's just what settings can you run it on.
maybe not full, and you might have some lag.
way for me to state the obvious.

It is the best game I have played this year BY FARI had been trying to decide if I should get it - enjoyed DOW - sounds like DOW2 will be a worthy additionFandangleIts nothing like DoW 1. THink of it as Commandos meets Warhammer 40k. Really really enjoyable game though, but definitely more an action RTS than a traditional RTS, but that doesn't mean to say its shallow at all
it's the must fun I had in SP in any RTS game so far, I only played through CnC series and -craft series to see the fancy cinematics, the actual gameplay was boring for me and I couldn't wait to finish the mission, but here I realy enjoyed the actual gameplay part of the SP, I also realy like the wargear and talent thingy, I think I spend almost as many time looking at the wargear screen as I did playing the game
and the wargear part is addictive as hell, just like in a RPG always going "meh I'll finish just this optional mission to get the blue chainsword then I go to the story mission" I told myself this some 10 times in a row before I actualy went to do the story mission :D

its like moving from AoE2 to myth: the fallen lords both amazing games dont get me wrong but two different styles.

yeah I love collecting wargear and tinkering with the stats of my guys. Also in battles (and in MP) it's the level of micro-ing needed that makes it frantically exciting
yeah i gotta say im loving it too, only thing is i wish i can find a strategy gudie or a tip gudie so i can start owning online with space marines, and trust I well conquer online.....Someday .
