Dawn of War 2 Steam Problem

Hello,

I have a steam copy of dawn of war 2. It starts to patch itself, it progresses to -lets say- %25, and then becomes %0 again. Can I download the latest patch from the game's website and patch my steam copy?

It's all done through Steam, there isn't a standalone patch. Restart Steam, maybe it works, but I also saw a few others on the Steam forums that have problems downloading the latest *huge* patch.DanielDust

That's steam patching for you...

Let's say the patch is 1GB in size and you download 300MB, that's 30%, but if you restart steam and resume the download it will start at 0% but now the amount to transfer is 700MB not 1GB, so that's why it starts at 0% everytime. In the end you will end up downloading the right amount of data so no need to worry about (unless you have the steam version of CoH...:x).
