Those games are so old that I doubt anyone would still be playing them online, if your looking for an online shooter go with the Battlefield series, or F.E.A.R.

No. They're both four years old, and their online was dead to begin with.

DF: BD was a pretty bad game, and the multiplayer was nothing compared to the Battlefield series, I would suggest getting those any game from that serires over DF: BD. I never played JO: TR though.

Joint ops was a great game released and still has a very small(but hardcore) fanbase so you will still be able to play online. But man the sniping in that game was freakin amazing, thinking about it almost makes me want to reinstall it, almost...
