Did anyone else feel kinda dissapointed with today's steam deals?

Today is the final day of the Steam holiday sale and i was hoping for some new and fresh gmaes that were on sale but all i got today was some old ones. Still this sale was great but i wish they went out on a bang. Anyone else feel kinda let down?

Yes! It's horrible!

Nope, because based on past Steam sales I already knew it was going to be repeats. And thining about picking up Neverwinter Nights 2 and Hitman: Blood Money since I passed on them earlier.

I was hoping they would bring back DA:O one more time since I missed it the first time around, but oh well...

Yeah today is pretty lame. I wish they had brought back some of the better deals and better games.

It looks like D2D has the sale I was looking for (which steam only had for 1 day).

Why were you expecting fresh deals today ? Steam has nearly always worked this way. The last day of the sale usually features repeat deals that did very well in the previous weeks sales. They did the same last week as well on the Sunday last week it just repeated deals that were availabe the previous week. It is an excellent opportunity for people to pick up games they were on the fence about the first time or didn't buy because they weren't sure what lay ahead deals wise.

My only reason for disappointment is because I wish they had done the top sellers for ALL the holiday daily sales. I missed on a couple early ones.the_ChEeSe_mAn2

I knew it was going to be a "repeat" or "recap" of their bestsellers... but I was really hoping they would go out with a bang and put ALL previous sales up there. Now, THAT, would have been an epic last day. :PElann2008
