I had great times using all the different mods but I still felt Skyrim was a dull game at times if it wasn't for the mods I would have quit the game long ago.

well you certainly found it more entertaining than I did playing the vanilla version the repetitve nature of the game turn me off
vanilla skyrim was an amazing game on its own, mods just enhanced the experience.
most of the mods I add don't really add new content, just make what is already there better.
Yeah, same. That's how I mod all my games. Just improve what's already there. Textures, menus etc.vanilla skyrim was an amazing game on its own, mods just enhanced the experience.

I make my own mods as wellwis3boiReally? like what? :D
Barely.
I do not wish to undermine the work of modders.but compared to the legendary mods available for oblivion(Better Citiesby bananasplit,Unique Landscapes Compilation,Obscuro's Oblivion Overhaul,to name a few...),the ones available for skyrim are very disappointing.
Definitely! The game is already great, but mods makes it infinitely better. I even made 2 mods for the game! :D [QUOTE="wis3boi"]I make my own mods as wellharry_james_potReally? like what? :D

This is my current largest mod for Skyrim, though it's not godtier work like some people's stuff (I don't do modeling or texturing, etc.)

I played vanilla Skyrim on the 360 for about 40 hours it was still fun, then put around 60 hours into Skyrim on the PC with mods from steam workshop and nexus mods which were pretty amazing to mess around with.

It looks like a pretty good house! :D I would try it, but that whole forest around the lake creeps me out.. Here's my mod if you're interested. :Pabsolutely 100% yes they did. in fact i can't play skyrim without the mods because the game is so ugly (without them) it's unbelievable.I had great times using all the different mods but I still felt Skyrim was a dull game at times if it wasn't for the mods I would have quit the game long ago.
TheFadeForever
if you're PC can't do ENB then try these (all together) instead.
-hi rez texture pack 1, 2 and 3
-true skyrim
-skyrim urwl
-pure waters
-lanterns of skyrim
the texture mod and the 4 environment mods make the game look AMAZING. for non-ENB modding (on slower machines), this was the best mix bar none, and i tired all of them. if my laptop wasa little bit faster i would also be running towns and villages enhanced mods as well.

They prolong the game but most mods don't improve the gameplay or the quests. I can think of maybe a dozen mods which actually made the game better out of hundreds I"ve tested.
