No dedicated servers is really what turned me away from this game.

On the other hand when you have dedicated servers and think nothing can stop you..... this happens!! :(

Ahh gamming is so unreliable and messed up nowadays, i expect more games not having dedicated servers in the future. But seriously, what the hell? In the past dedicated servers worked just fine.

Its normal, dude. its the same as if steam went down for a bit. all of us would lose connection and experience this. just let EA get used to having Authentification servers up for BFBC2. Seriously, though, atleast its not as bad as Asssassin's Creed II DRM... i heard their server is STILL down.

As i said on another thread "what the hell is goind on, why servers are so unreliable those days" Seriosly ea servers down, ubisoft servers down, this is 2010 god damn it, things like that are unexpectable. I am starting to believe that mw2 did not have dedicated servers to avoid stuff like this, i am just saying....

I got it in a AMD motherboard and CPU bundle at NCIX and I'll pick up the voucher on Tuesday because its backordered. Also got City of Heroes/Villains as well for free with the bundle. Did any of you get it? I wouldn't have bought it at the price its being sold at though.

Remember, technology is technology. No matter how advanced or how powerful a piece of hardware is, there will always be unforeseen issues. I've installed servers with only a 20 user network and seen it become crippled due to unexpected load, which the 50 user environment is running smoothly with the same hardware. Add in hardware failures, software faults, network infrastructure issues, and you can easily expect issues occurring at some point.
