Dirt 2 and Game for Windows live crap

I bought Dirt 2 with the sale, previewsly had it cracked so I figured playing online would be fun.

Tried making a Windows Live account instead of a local one so I could play online,

Now it says I need parental permission to make my account, WTF is that crap Windows Live service !
Regret buying this game just for this stupid Windows Live stuff, I'll go back loosing my time now creating my account now

It's not really a great system but really, it's not LIVE's/MS's fault you're putting random info into your hotmail account...DanielDust

And underage info at that, lol. I fake my age but it's always over 18. Despite that slip-up on your part, I agree that GFWL is terrible. I had to log in, update GFWL, restart the game, and then it spent forever downloading a patch for the game. Now that it's working I don't mind it, but taking half an hour to get a game set up after you installed it is not something I'm used to anymore :)

Seriously, it's a flawed system but it's functional and I actually like it.

Why you must be 18 to play dirt 2.Maybe some FPS's but dirt 2,there's no violence in that game.

Yeah GFWL is crap, took me 1 hours to set up an account, and the interface is bugged in game in high res (have to click 10 pixel lower to a button to actually click on it) I won't buy another game with this system, that's for sure

Tell me if you see something logical in having reached your activation limit, contacting MS, waiting weeks to get a replacement key, your only replacement key then if you reach that limit again bye bye buy another copy you rich bastard.

And is it really your place to question the number of activations a person is entitled to? maybe I'll install a certain game for more than 40 times in 8 years, what I shouldn't be allowed to play it? you should have stopped at not having problems because the activation limit on LIVE is stupid and you know it, if you think otherwise you're an ignorant.

I just wanted to show the cracked version was easier to set up than the retail version... kind of a let down for me. And yes I admit. I cracked some game to test them before buying. I.E : I regret buying MW2, I lost 60$ for 2 missons, didn't like it and it was a waste of money for me.

I don't think a game should be able to see all your details, age, sex, etc. and link your email address for whatever reason. I mean come on it's a driving game... I tried changing my details in hotmail to put my real age (24), and it didn't update correctly when I was trying to sign up the account, I just had a bad experience with GFWL. Just clicking one button to play online would have been OK for me.
