no hype for this game? I think the first one was good and this should be better, Bethesda has been on a roll fallout 4, doom, skyrim remaster and now this.

I think sales of the game is gonna do well despite the drm factor and activation limit of 5 pc's in a day not sure anyone would activate 6 pc's in a day but

anyone planning on getting it even if on sale. sale for me but still looking forward to this game

Does look like it has potential, but I'm getting burned out on sequels. I want something new and sci-fi, ie, CDPR's Cyberpunk 2077.

I'm interested in Dishonored 2 as much as I am for Watch Dogs 2...

Dishonored was a good game but but what did they change? I would love to play Dishonored again with VR though.

I am looking forward to it, but I am not hyping it. Also tbh I kind of went a little overboard in October lol; BF1, Titanfall 2, WoW: Legion, Civ 6, CoD: IW...Dishonored 2 I think I might actually be most excited for but it's all a bit much at this point.

*pant pant pant*

Gotta take a step back, though.

I couldn't agree more with you.

BTW, I freaking loved original Dishonored (I still play it every now and then).

Super hyped for this game.

At this point all I'm hoping for is that the PC version ain't botched, because it has some pretty heft requirements :/

@R4gn4r0k: @urbangamez: I played it for a couple hours. The gameplay is more of the same and is good but the performance is pretty horrid, be warned. It's probably best to wait for patches.

You have like a beast of a PC, and even you are having issues ? Good god

Great games are getting ruined by some truly awful performance :/

edit: How is ultrawide support, by the way ? :)

@R4gn4r0k: Ultra wide is fine. No SLI support and forcing it makes no difference. 0% usage on my second card. Performance on one GTX 1080 can drop into the 30's sometimes once you get to main parts of the city. Changing settings makes very little difference.

@saintsatan: Thanks for the info !

Let's hope it is fixable with patches.

At least if there is 21:9 support that is an indication of this not being some super crappy port, so it should be fixable.

But yeah, bad launch for a much anticipated game yet again :/

@saintsatan: well I know on Xbox/PS4 they had a 9GB patch on day one, and on PC (Steam) the game is not even released yet so I wonder if they will have a day 0 patch as well in 3 hours (when the game is released) at 9PM PST (I think I get it early? preorder bonus. Maybe tomorrow there will be patch since that is the official official release lol)

seems to be the trend these days with games, day 0/day 1 patches. I know Skyrim SE certainly is a much better game a couple days later after being a horrendous release.

That's rough... My 780 isn't going to like this.

running fine for me *shrug*

there is an option called resolution scaling, or something. I heard they put it in for consoles but you want to set it for 100 on PC. Maybe that is the source of the problems for people?

Anyway, great game. Very challenging!!! Love it! Playing as Emily, without giving too much away, there was an option to turn down the offering to use any powers...I was tempted to go straight up ninja. I'm playing as "pissed off vengeful Emily"...no survivors, that crown is mine, dammit!

Game is fun, controls are fluid, super challenging, beautiful like an oil painting.

Reports back that it's very badly optimized. It's from Bethesda so everyone knows what to expect here.

Probably best to wait for a few patches.

I have heard that there are some troubles related to graphics IN PCs. Personally I cannot confirm or deny this information. These comments are not new and I have been able to see them on many platforms where we can discuss about games. Hype or not? I'm not saying these type of comments reduce it, but it creates some conflict when thinking about it. The first one was an incredible game, the number 2 is it going to be that great? I hope so.
