yeah you need the silver wich is free to play online but you can buy the gold for an extra $50Â a year for multiplayer acheivements and cross platform play but if you already have a gold acount on your 360 it can also be used on your computer for no extra cost
I really can't wait for PC users to start playing 360 players. :) Finally, the age old question will be answered, "can PC gamers mop-up on console gamers?" IMO, the answer is, of course the PC players will kick the crap out of the consolers! But at least it will now be proven. ;)

I actually predict quite a bit of **** and moaning from the console gamers about this. my prediction; Consolers will revel in the chance to take on their PC counterparts. When they realize they can't compete, they'll demand MS remove PC-console competition.

you only need a silver account if you want to play just pc players and its free to sign up for silver

You forget that MS mentioned that there will be a handicap for console players since it would not be fair. Of course my info is a year old.. Also, I probably start using a X360 controller just to have auto-aim :PÂ Hacking without actually hacking.. hmmmm
