[QUOTE="Bebi_vegeta"]

[QUOTE="machiavell8x8 "] so your saying a quad coreI7 or a phenom II with a rated speed of 3ghz, is using 4 processors running at 750mhz?

because im noticeing alot of "very little knowledge and information from you" and lots of "naner naner im 12 years old and your wrong"

machiavell8x8

Well you can't add GHz from another processor...

It's like saying 4 cars going at 120mph = 480mph. WHAT?

and yes i know this, i mentioned in a previous post that i wasn't talking about making it a magical 12ghz processor

Wait, you need to make up your mind. Is it 12GHz or not. You just finished saying I got "owned" and now you are saying I am right. I think I was right...... you are clueless.

OK, I will say this one more time. A quad core at 3GHZ is not equal to 12GHz. I do not care how you make your argument, it is just not. It is 4 cores running at 3GHz, period.

You are just clueless as your posts in other threads have shown. It is a waste of time debating with you I can see.

machiavell8x8

I don't see how clearer I can put it.

because you know you just got owned.

How old are you, you sound like some 12 year old.

You are hopeless, LOL. How am I "switching my story"? I just pointed out you sounded like some immature little kid.

I stand by what I said, you are the one who back peddled. And I quote, you said "i said you had 4 Processors running at 3 ghz. 4 x 3 = 12 you have 12 ghz" And just now you said "i wasn't talking about making it a magical 12ghz processor" So I repeat, make up your mind.

I think the concept of a "Geek Squad" type business is a great idea, only if one can incorporate fair prices, excellent service and a very knowledgeable tech that will come out to you. It seems almost everyone here has something bad to say about them, whether it be through first had experience or word of mouth from someone else.

I had a similar bad experience about 3 years ago, but with a local tech shop that said they specialized in on-site work. The end result was they didn't really do anything more than I already had and in th process lost a ton of files on my wife's computer, some of which were from our wedding pictures....(man was she pissed off !)

At that time I knew a little about computers, but since then I committed myself to learning as much as possible and I have now build 2 systems(including the one in my sig) and know my way around the in's and out's of my computer hardware and software.

So I guess whether it's a local tech shop or the Geek Squad, there are a lot of people that really can use these kind of services provided by such business's ...but to be worthwhile to the customer and successful to the business operation, it must be fair and competent, which doesn't seem to be the case with GS...and that's too bad because it is such a great idea!

dude enough with the games you've been had....at least i was willing to own up to my mistake eventually lol
your not fooling anyone, i made my messages very clear, your just taking them out of context and leave out the most important parts, so you can try and cover up your childness

so here's some quotes that are plain as day

//4 Processors running at 3 ghz. 4 x 3 = 12 you have 12 ghz OF TOTAL POWER// you left out the power part

then i said this, further showing i was NOT talking about a 12ghz chip, but 4 seperate 3ghz

//OH i dunno maybe that was so she didn't think a quadcore was a 12ghz processor???//yah the magical 12ghz processor....
and

//i never said nor implied you could run a game at 12ghz// hello anyone there?
and

//because it all comes down to the software being able to use it all and any hardware limitations. it will improve even farther as they increase support and design the software better.//

if you use "4" //3ghz// cores at //if you do use each processor at 100% load// you would have 12ghz of total power. not a magical 12ghz processor

You on the otherhand have been implying quadcores only have a total of 3ghz. and the biggest and most simpilest way of seeing that, is the fact that you've denied Everything ive said as WRONG. and have failed to even attempt to explain it because you couldn't

and here is your undeniable proof that im sure you will try yet again to wiggle your way out of

//A quad core at 3GHZ is not equal to 12GHz. I do not care how you make your argument, it is just not. It is 4 cores running a 3GHz, period.//

well id like to see you stick to your story and now admit your wrong, or continue to backpeddle with misunderstanding.

the // are quotes lol, the forum has some bug that wouldn't let me post with them all

I give up, you can ignore me and everyone else who tried to point out your error, but I guess ignorance is bliss. But as a consolation prize, you are well qualified to woek for Geek Squad. :P

i don't know about always right, but in this thread ive always been right 8)

machiavell8x8

That's the problem with you guys always trying to prove who is right and who's wrong. It ends up always taking these threads "OFF TOPIC" ! ...just like you've done here....take your petty arguing somewhere else like System wars or Off Topic....this crap gets boring !!!!.......... :x

it was always on topic, it was a debate about the GS employee and the interpretation of what he ment by 4 seperate processors which could very well have been just to point out that there was more than one processor running at 3ghz, so was he was trying to rip people off or not? To do that one has to prove to some degree the meaning of what he said and thats what i tried to do. the only reason it went on as long as it did was because nobody was willing to accept the fact that not all GS employee's are out to ripe people off on purpose. and thats just not fair, they don't all do that.

and im sure there's people out there reading this with friends who work for geek squad, somebodys gotta stick up for them right? at least i feel like im obligated to if i feel they were actually in the right. sorry your bored but there's not really a whole lot more to say that hasn't been said regarding GS besides the funny cars they drive lol

Your tell'en me ! ........I was lucky enough to still have some of the photos saved to disc, but not all....I say, if your going to have someone touch your PC, you better know who they are. Otherwise learn how to take care of it yourself, it will save you time, money and a lot of greef !

I have friends that work for BB's geeksquad. Just find some site that tells you how to reformat your harddrive and do it yourself. They are ripoffs.
