I tried to listen to music play C&C 3 and Genrals but i lose my connection ith the game and i get bombed or nuked and i cant get my base back up! It is so sad and scary! ! I have also tried it during UT 2004 but i cant tell were they are coming from and it doesn;t work with SWAT 4 either!

Its hard for me to listen to music while playing games. The sound effects in the game help me play better.

Very rarely, when playing one of the TrackMania games. That's got to be the only game during which I can listen to music. Listening to music when playing SOF2 for example = bad idea, because I can't hear people's footsteps and barely hear gunshots and all of that. Lowering the music volume isn't really a good idea as well, because then I can barely hear the music. :)

I go through phases where I listen to a lot of music when I'm playing WoW PvE, thrash and black metal mostly. I don't listen to music when I'm playing competively though, I like to hear every little sound around me in the game.
