If you own the game is it? I know lots of people who used to buy playstation games and play them on the pc. can't do that with 64 though. Anyways I used to play some of my old nes games that way since the cartridges never work anymore.

Not necessarily. Gametap acts as an emulator for a bunch of the old games it offers that were strictly console games, for instance.

i must admit, i have quite a collection of roms/emulators,

everything in nes, snes, a lot of n64, and a handful of ps1

i owned every system at some point in my life, but not necessarily every game

but its nice to play the clasics again whenever u want, and there all compatible with mostly all usb controllers

yeah, i owned golden eye put i cracked the chip that the 64 reads it. (don't ask) so i go ahead, and with x 16 AF and x4 AA with a ton frames, play it.

EDIT no such thing as x 16 AA :?(not yet at least)

To me, its common sense that when you break the law, and you know you break the law, that you dont openly talk about it in public. Especially when you can be traced.

Is there a universal emulator for every system and every game? Because I hate having to clutter up my desktop with all these icons just to play like Pokemon, and then have to change to a different emulator to play Yoshi's Island (SNES).

Why don't you just create an "Emulator" folder on your desktop and drag all of them in there?
