My PS3 is indistinguishable from a pile of dust.(LOL)
I used it around 2 months ago and will use it again for RDR.
I own a decent gaming PC - want to get an Xbox though for some multiplayer games (like Halo and RDR) but can't afford it atm sadly.
I play PC games all the time but I also have a PS3, Xbox 360 and a Wii. I play on all of those systems, but I'm addicted to Team Fortress 2 and GTA IV (PC) right now so I play more PC.
I do, I play on the 360 (Got RROD'd almost a week ago...), PS3, Wii, N64, DS, PSP, Genesis, etc. And obviously on the PC.
i own a ps3 mostly cause i wanted to play ever mgs game....that and i love ff and gow.....so yeah for the exclusives....but then it also helps me to play games that dont exactly run well on my computer.....bfbc2 and swfu
I am 95%ish a PC gamer, but I do own a PS3 and a Wii. I rarely play the Wii (only those few occasions that a family member wants to play Wii Sports Resort) and the PS3 is only for exclusives such as Heavy Rain, Uncharted 2, etc... and for games that I'm on the fence about. If I cannot find a PC/console demo for a game, then I will rent it from Gamefly and try it out that way before purchasing. I hope this helps, basically, only get a console (really the PS3 is the only good option due to the exclusives that it has) if you must play the exclusives that system offers.
I have the tower and laptop in my sig. I also have a Wii and a PS3 hooked up to two different T.V.s in the house. I also have a PSP readily available.
I have an Xbox 360, a psp, a ps2, a DS, and a gba sp. I don't even play xbox 360 games anymore, but I used to before late 2008. PC games nowadays.
Desktop PC only.
I like to play flight and naval sims as well as grognardy type wargames and a Desktop PC is really the only system out there that make this possible. A laptop would be pointless once I attach my joystick, throttle, pedals, and TrackIR unit to it. Console controllers are just too limited to make the types of games I enjoy playable without an extremely cumbersome onscreen interface.
we all sound like fan boys. I'm a ex console exclusive gamer, till i purchased a really weak pc and discovered half life 2 years ago. I then made it my mission to learn how to put a pc together and piece by piece build a acceptable pc. i upgraded my cpu (i could have purchased a Q6600 for the same price as this cpu i have) to something thats good enough to play most games on high. i rather put my money into pc upgrading than buying a console, though i said ill be going a wii.
[QUOTE="roulettethedog"]so you rather buy a 360 instead, which share most games on the pc?..lol atleast the other 2 have more exclusives.. Maybe he likes 360 exclusives more? Opinions, man. I'm a PC and DS gamer and I'm thinking about getting a PSP. For a long time I thought PS3 + PC was the best combo but like a lot of other posters have said, the only real purpose of the PS3 is for exclusives and blu-rays and I didn't care for a lot of the exclusives and I don't watch blu rays. I have always stuck with my PC throughout the last two generations that I've been a gamer and it is by far the most appealing main game platform for me.I own a gaming P.C. ,PSP and a 360. Not enough exclusives for me to buy a PS3 or Wii.

I also own a pc and want to get a 360 - because of out all of the consoles the 360 has thebestmultiplayer community (unless you live in Japan) and I am also a fan of games such as Halo 3 and RDR when it getsreleased. Havinga solid multiplayer experienceis more important to me than a higher number of exclusives you'll play once then toss in the garbage bin or leave on the shelf collecting dust after you beat them. There are many games you can play on consoles that you can't on the PC - so the 360 is a perfectly valid choice when it comes to supplementing your PC gaming experience (plus I'd much rather use a controller than a mousewhen it comes tomultiplayer shooters).
I have three computers and all my wifes' needs is a better video card to get up to speed. I also have a 360 which is useful for parties and exclusives. Was looking at Alan Wake and Red Dead but we'll see. If I was reading the price right @ the GS review for AW it was $80.00 US. Definite buzz kill.
I currently own and use:
- Playstation 3 with full backwards compatibility (so I can play some PS2 games, and I do)
- Xbox (original because the 360 emulation sucks)
- Xbox 360 elite (most of the AAA titles that come out, I choose this platform for)
- Nintendo DS (to get my occasional RPG fix when there's nothing else out)
- iPhone for gaming (mainly RPGs / roguelikes)
- PC gaming rig connected to my HDTV for those RPGs / rare games I can't play on console
Before the 360 I was primarily a PC gamer. DRM pushed me away from AAA titles towards consoles. I like owning my own game and being able to trade used and consoles are great for this. I enjoy buying used / selling games and save quite a bit of cash in the process. I also prefer to use a wireless controller because it's more confortable on a couch than a keyboard and mouse, although I do game with keyboard/mouse (wireless) on my couch with the use of a sort of laptable dealio.
I have a PC and 360, not very good pc though, but It's OK to me, awful to all you guys on this forum though lol. I mainly use pc for MMO's/RPG's like guildwars because i just CANNOT get into Rpgs on consoles.
Well if your PC isnt good its justified :PI have a PC and 360, not very good pc though, but It's OK to me, awful to all you guys on this forum though lol. I mainly use pc for MMO's/RPG's like guildwars because i just CANNOT get into Rpgs on consoles.

Everything except a DS. I'll play Halo 3, soon to be Halo: Reach on Xbox 360 and play with friends. I liked some of the ps3 exclusives and I move around so being able to stuff the ps3 in a duffle bag is convenient. Pretty much anything available on pc I get on pc, with the exception being co-op games like Kane & Lynch.
I sold a lot of my consoles.
Currentely I have the PS3 (but I also have PS2 and PS1 games). Oh and I also own a Wii as well as a Dreamcast. I've had a lot of consoles in the past... PS2, PS1, GameCube, Nintendo 64, some old ass Sega system I can't even remember which one. But yeah that's about all the consoles I've ever owned. I am also planning on rebuying a PS2 in case my PS3 ends up dying or something, so I have a spare for all my PS2 and PS1 games.
