That's just stupid. They took the gore to such an extreme it interferes with gameplay from the look of it. How are you supposed to actually see what you're trying to shoot at with about half the screen covered entirely in blood like in that second shot?

i think the artificial gravity will do its work and all that blood will fall to the ground before long; and then you'll be able to see again.

These screens are a sort of tech demo for the blood.

In the actual game they're toned down as all that blood interfered with the gameplay.

I want my games to have the gore effects that Fallout had with the Bloody Mess perk...

When I shoot someone in the head , I want to see it turn into a canoe..or explode in a cloud of red vapor.

Not every shot of course....but man some of the animations in Fallout are hilarious!

So yeah....!! Give me blood...!!!

How can you tell me something is uncalled for when you don't even know what im talking about in the first place? I'm really confused as to what you mean. If it helps out with the overall styIing of the game, then sure. If it just sticks out as unneccesary and needlessy brutal, then no.

i guess it's down to me to speak up for the cissies - i always turn the gore off if i can, though if i can't i still play the game - eg Painkiller i seem to recall you can't turn it off but i still loved the game

it's not that i can't take it, i just don't want to de-sensitise myself to the sight of blood - that way when i see real people in real wars/accidents whatever on TV it still shocks me - like it should

but i'm not saying you guys shouldn't prefer the gore - i do think, however that all developers should build a 'no gore' option into every game - just so there's a choice

Kidding, but blood can be awesome in games like FEAR and Gears. Slo-mo, limbs falling off. Beautiful.
