Hmm Number 7 on the feature list in that link is a lie, M$ hasnt announced anything yet. Unless they just announced it to retailers, because people who work at gamestop have said it is in their database.

What? Gamestop have GTA IV PC in their DB? :o Do they have any estimated date there as well? And where did you hear about their DB anyways?

It's all in this thread, you just have to go through and find it. I personally checked with a friend about two days ago and he said it was in their database for a November 30th R date.

yes i want it because the gta games is the best games i ever played and everyone of them expect stories..came out to pc so why not gta4!!! it should have come im very sad and angry that it didnt come..whats the point of buying a console for a game when you bought a pc 2months before it came out

They have this article about the comparison of GTA IV to past GTA Games and I saw it on the PC page of GS. I didn't notice that it was the comparing article and I was like "Omg what is GTA IV doing on the PC section!? :o" but then I saw that it's this article. Damnit!

I think I may just nab a 360 now that I have a job. I don't want to have to upgrade my PC anytime soon, since I'll be off to college in about a year...Sgt_So_and_So

box art is always available first than its actual release date .

yes, i desperatly want GTA IV for pc but i would rather have a MMO since there is so much pontential

-the internet could be player made

-you could make your own account of the dating website

-they are already great at making massive world environments

-there could be a minigame for when people try to steal eachothers car, or the hier lvl could win

these are just a few ideas

To be honest the game has never really crossed my mind. COD4 & Crysis are all I need at the moment.

There will most likely be a PC version of GTA IV. Almost all successful games get PC versions. Mass Effect will have its PC version. Assassin's Creed has its own PC Version(which looks pretty successful,BTW). Also, the PC is very successful(mostly because of WoW) in terms of gaming, so who wouldn't want to see his VERY successful game go to the PC. Now how about Metal Gear Solid 4...

If the game didn't correct the problems of San Andreas then I definitely wouldn't want it.

But from what I have read they seemed to have addressed some things.

You know, a smart man once told me - "PC is like the gaming god. Sometimes people lose faith in him, but once they get in trouble, they come cwawling back to him!".

GTA IV has been the only game in recent times to get a full 10.0 rating on GS... sure would love to have it on the PC. And as far as MGS4 goes, it's sucking a lot of power out of the PS3, so I doubt it'll make it on the PC anytime soon.rhcpvisigoth

I do hope it does come out on the pc platform:D but, the biggest roadblock they will face is with the ongoing problem of piracy!! unlike in the console version it has made about 500 mils, that figure compared to the pc version will surely drop to a great extent and that is huge set back for us hardcore pc gamers, for the obvious reasons 'What if, they do not release a pc version after all?! as the news being circulated around gaming circuits, that over time there will be no pc games in the market due to piracy, well atleast in countries where piracy is a thriving business!Agniyodha

After all this stuff you said you call yourself a hardcore PC gamer? What a load of crap... People who pirate games for the PC are the same people who will pirate games for the consoles. Have you seen the number of downloads for the Xbox360 version of GTA IV? When GTA IV will be released, of course it won't have the same figures as the console sales because there are 2 consoles against the PC. The only real system that can't have pirated copies is the PS3 but that'll change. The sales of GTA IV will be good on the PC. They'll be even better if there will be a CD key protection to play the MP because then every1 who wants the MP will have to buy it.

The last GTA I really likes was GTA III. Vice City was OK and San Andreas was "meh."

I bought GTA IV on the PS/3 and it is GTA III but better. If it comes out on PC I will buy it.

If GTAIV comes to PC the specs maybe be a bit high for some but as a PC fan i would love to get this on PC and may up have to up grade PC

yeah, that would be awesome if it comes to steam. i just hope it becomes available on steam from day one, cuz i'd be pretty anxious if it doesn't and might be tempted to get it retail.
