I've been trying to remember the name of this obscure PC game I used to play all the time when I was a little kid... the only details I can remember are that it was a 2d action adventure game featuring a guy with a blue helmet (I think) and guns running around in futuristic office building settings... one of the levels featured the Popcorn Song (or at least something really similar to it). A lot of people have told me the game is "Digger" because that game has a level featuring the Popcorn Song, but it is NOT Digger. Can anyone help me out, or refer me somewhere that might be able to? I loved the hell out of this game and would love to get my hands on it again.

I may get in trouble for saying this but "Home of the Underdogs" has the most complete pc game listing and reviews of any place that I am aware. You can google it to find the webpage but I would only use it as a resource and not to download anything.

Almost sounds like Halloween Harry, or Alien Carnage (Same game, different names).

The most complete source of names is the DOSBox database at www.dosbox.com. Just click "games" and sort through the list.

Also, the two biggest names in 2D gaming at the time were Apogee (Now 3Drealms) and Epic Megagames. Look through their old games (lists are on Wikipedia) and find some screenshots to find what you're looking for.

There is this program called gametap (YES it is legal!) where you can download some old (and new) games for free.

Just to note: The free selection varies - it rotates different games in and out on monthly basis. For a subscription fee you get access to the whole library though

Also check out http://www.classicdosgames.com/online.php to see if it is there. Some of the games can be played on-line through JPC (Java bases virtual PC).
