Does anyone still play Counter-Strike?

I'm just reinstalling the game, and can't help but wonder if people still play.

Source or 1.6? They play both a lot, but I play source. AND I IZ DA BESTJigglyWiggly_

And yes cs 1.6 and cs:s are aalways populated. You will never be unable to find a populated server.

Yeah it's still the most popular MP FPS.

A LOT of people still play 1.5. You'll have no trouble finding a server on it.

I play the original all the time. Mainly because i have a crappy computer. When i get a new one ill switch to Team Fortress 2.

Do you respawn in CSS when killed like in COD or are you out until the match is over.ericpol

There are many game mods in CS.

If you play deathmatch, you respawn, if you play classic you wait until the round is over.

There's plenty of other like, zombie panic,deathrun,bunny hop,surf,gungame. Too many to list :D

I still play Source all the time, it's a great game. The games I play in are always full too.

I playz Normal CS 1.6 and I iz Proz .

It's more played than any other game, even 6 years later...

Counter Strike and Counter Strike Source both have some of the biggest online communities on Steam, so yes.

I still play it! Source that is. lol I'm really into the Gun Game maps. They are a nice challenge and change from all the old DE and CS maps of old.

I have no doubt that I would still play CS- Source if my internet connection wasn't so laggy. My latency is way too high for any sort of online gaming at this point. I used to play it almost every night. I played Counter-strike betas 3 and 4 when they first came out as mods for the original Half-life back in 1999 or 2000. That's incredible.. basically the same game, and 10 to 11 years later it's still as strong as ever.

I still play CSS from time to time I used to Hardcore play CZ that version of CS is sadly declining :/

I reinstalled both CSS and TF2 last week to see if it is any fun, Sadly, all Valve games and its one dimensional infantry death-match is too old and boring for me.

source and 1.6 are still the most played games daily on steam.

I use to play 1.6 hardcore back in the day however now I just have fun with Source. Plenty of people playing and my # 1 MP FPS still to this day.
