I don't think you will find any players online, and if you do, they are probably super good at it. I haven't installed that game in years but I still have it. I think I still have the Clone Campaigns disk laying around here somewhere too.

I actually just installed this game last week. MSN gaming zone has been down for years now. So, to play a multiplayer game you'd need a program like GameRanger. It's a matchmaking service that emulates a LAN connection between computers. Or something like that. There are 6 games up for Galactic Battlegrounds/Clone Campaigns right now. Most old games are played multiplayer using this GameRanger program. Like Worms:Armageddon, Army Men: RTS, Stronghold Crusader, Empire Earth, Age of Empires, etc. And there are plenty of people playing.

GameRanger doesn't emulate LAN, but it is an internet gaming lobby similar to GS Arcade/MSN Gaming Zone. How many people play Stronghold Crusader? :o

34 rooms for Stronghold Crusader right now. And I'm pretty sure it tricks the game into thinking it's connecting by LAN. That's why so many pirates use this program to by pass the online matchmaking a game has and use game ranger's matchmaking to connect via 'LAN'
