Does Resident Evil 4 run on Windows Vista?

It says it supports XP, but does that mean that is does not run on vista at all. I have some old games that run fine on vista and others that do not. So I was wondering i anyone knew if it ran on Vista? Who has tried running the game on Vista, and did it work?

I ran it on Vista Business 64 without problems, aside from it being a terrible game.

I heard that it was a pretty bad port. But I figured for a brand new copy for $12, it will hopefully be worth it. I have a controller and I dont mind using it. I hardly use it for anything anyways...

I ran it on Vista Business 64 without problems, aside from it being a terrible game.

runs fine on my pc (vista 32 bit)

It will indeed, although its a terrible PORT (great game IMO). If you have any other console that will play it (Wii, Ps2, B/C Ps3, Gamecube) get it for a console.

It ran fine for me, Vista 64-bit and for the person above me yes it supports the 360 controller..

Cool. I am glad to hear that it runs fine. Like I said. I have some XP stuff that does not run under vista. So i wanted to make sure this ran fine before ibuy the game. I have Vista Home Premium 32bitfor those who were wondering.

I used the XB360 controller and it worked just fine. Just got RE5 for PC too! lol

I heard the modding community worked pretty hard on this game, got it to the point where its actually worth playing. I'd get it, but I already played it on Gamecube.

definetly is. i think it was equally great on PC (finished it couple of times only on GC, though), as long as you use X360 controller. mouse+keyboard is just horrible with it.
