Is it worth using Vista as a Gaming PC or XP?

can someone answer this question.Please. i am getting a new pc soon and don't know whether to stick with xp or go to vista. i also want to know if WOW or guild wars will work w/vista.

Of course it works. Why wouldn't it? Just install the games and stop worrying about things not working. If you experience problems check the official forums. There is a wiki that has not been updated in a long time and the sims is listed as working fine. http://www.iexbeta.com/wiki/index.php/Windows_Vista_Software_Compatibility_List

They're probably concerned about the fact that a lot of XP software doesn't work on Vista. I've had my vista laptop for about a month, and it's been a tremendous PITA. Games haven't been a problem for me, though. It's mostly been stuff like burning software and dvd movie players that have not been getting along well.

My wife plays it all the time at home on Vista. You should be fine.
