Almost all stores nowadays do ID checks... there's always a small chance the cashier won't check though.

order it online, They don't do those stupid ID check in canada, well unless your 8 and your buying Duke 3D. Try it anyway you might end up with a cashier that doesn't look or care

You can just ask someone in the store to buy it for you and you give them the money. I did it to get HL2.

Most stores ask for an ID because they don't want to be *****ed at by politicians. Wal-Mart, in particular, is especially hypocritical. Why? They refuse to stock some games like GTA San Andreas, meanwhile they sell guns. Go figure.

I just turned 17 and I've been getting through wal-mart and EB games M rated policies pretty easily. Wal-mart usually doesn't check for ID but EB games always does. The best thing to do at wal-mart is ask for the game, and if they tell you it's M rated ask "you have to be 17 right?" then say yes to whatever they respond to you with. It worked like a charm for me so many times....I even try to act like I'm not 17 at EB games sometimes.

I'm two weeks from 26 and I still get carded. I kinda use to it everywhere I go now, although I don't get carded for R rated movies anymore. ;p

OK I just came back from WalMart and bought Resistence 2 which rated M. I went to the ghetto Walmart and thier was this Mexican guy who was scanning me. I noticed as soon as it scanned thier was this buzzing sound and the price reader said something like check if customer is 17. The guy didn't even care and just sold me. I will not reveal the store, because i'm very grateful. BTW I'm 16

Why can't you just go with your parents and buy it? You have to have someone drive you anyways.

if your parents aren't phyco protective and go by those "guidlines" ask your mom or dad or grandparents even. I don't see the point on those guidelines anyway. They can only stop 11 and under kids from buying M games, while most kids in my 8th grade play COD 4 on thier 360s.
