I only buy EVGA cards :P And the warranty is the reason for it. I've only had one graphics card die on my and it was 1 of my GTX 480's. I got the card back in less than 2 weeks.

my GTX 295 died never overclocked and even had an extra cooler blowing on it.... will randomly boot if tried 20 times..

What does that prove? My XFX 8800 GTS died as well and you can find example of pretty much every brand card dying. Graphic cards are not the most long lasting computer component that there can be unfortunately.[QUOTE="GummiRaccoon"]

Just because you got 1 defective part doesn't mean that all of them are defective. Every manufacturer has a small percentage of parts that fail, you happen to be that percentage.
All the old links I had are 404ing but evga was up there with asus as some of the lowest failure rates despite having gtx 280s which had a tremendously huge failure rates.
